«Different language but in the same boat and under the same sky.»

-Rosario Moore

Rosario Moore

Mexican author and illustrator currently living in Chattanooga, TN, United States. Creator of the bilingual children’s book series The Wholks and a teacher for over eight years. Her dream began around 2016 when she owned an early childhood school in Chihuahua, México. Her passion for education and interest in early emotional education led her to envision creating children’s stories that support the critical stages of childhood, with stories told from her heart and in her own way.

That dream began to come to life in 2019 when the world was revolutionized and paused in many ways. After moving to the United States, she used that time to start her first sketches and stories.

The idea originated from making a work of socks, thanks to the crafts she enjoys doing in her spare time. Some of her crafts are made with socks, which inspired her to begin her dream in the world of handmade creations. She is a teacher, author, and illustrator, creating her designs and stories. One of her biggest dreams is to touch lives with her stories and help strengthen children’s emotions while raising parents’ awareness of the importance of teaching their children positive self-esteem, self-love, values, self-confidence, and self-control.
